Bodyweight training has become very popular among athletes nowadays! One of the questions I get asked frequently is, 'How
do I get started with this unique and dynamic sport?' This video was made to address that concern;I have not only highlighted the core building moves, but also have provided a practical sequence that is effective for your development as well! Here are 7 basic fundamental exercises that will provide a stealthy foundation that you can use to launch off a progressive fitness program that will gear you towards more advanced calisthenic movements. Save the handstands, muscle ups, pistol squats and front levers until you have developed a strong foundation. Those drills will subsequently become much easier!
Here is the list of exercises with the sets and reps breakdown:
Work 2 - 3 sets per exercise in sequence form or in a circuit fashion. This workout could be effectively performed 3 times per week on alternative days. for example Mon / Wed / and Fri or Tues / Thurs / and Sat.
